New localism and fair trade

This section offers articles and information dealing with reforms in public administration - reshaping the contract between public service delivery and local communities to one of co-producing services with users.

Fair trade and trade justice promotes the use of labour, environmental and social standards for the production of commodities particularly those exported from the South and transitional economies to the North. Standards may be voluntarily adhered to by importing firms or enforced by government through a combination of employment, environmental and commercial laws.
