The Scottish Land Reform Convention is an independent civic forum established by the Scottish Civic Assembly and guided in its work by the four core principles of sovereignty and democracy, social justice and stewardship. The Convention brings together groups from both rural and urban areas and is a pioneering example of the new type of civic forum that will interact with the Scottish Parliament. The Convention is a network of organisations and individuals interested in land reform. It is managed through a Steering Group of representatives from Action of Churches Together in Scotland (ACT), the Convention of Scottish Local Authorities (CoSLA), the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations (SCVO), and the Scottish Trade Union Congress (STUC). CoSLA provides the Convention with secretariat services. For further information on the Convention contact Lynsey Dingwall at lynsey@cosla.gov.uk or Allan Watt at allan@cosla.gov.uk. The Convention has a mailing list and archives of associated files that can be accessed through subscribing to Majordomo@landreformconvention.org.uk. There is also a website at www.srds.co.uk/slrc
