Date: 20 Apr 2003 CommentsHi everybody There is a protest on the Balnagown estate of Mohamed Al Fayed on Sunday 27th April at 12 noon. This is because of Mr Al Fayeds continued vociferous opposition to land reform. Dubbed the 'Big Red Ramble' because of him describing the Scottish Parliament as 'communist' (!?), all are invited for a peaceful protest. Maps provided. We will cause no damage and leave only footprints. This is half an hour north of Inverness. For more info contact gobbledegook@ukonline.co.uk
Date: 14 Oct 2003 CommentsI don't know what the history is, why Scotland's ownership is concentrated in a few hands - suspect it's got something to do with the Clearances. Good luck and keep up the good work. How much of Scotland is owned by the Windsors?
Date: 04 Jul 2004 CommentsA very informative site, although not quite what I was hopeing to find. A fascinating and time consuming site. Well done! I am chair of a Community based tenants organisation and was looking to find out if the County Council have the right to sell a public playing field to erect a new TESCO (now complete), enclose another playing field attached to school property, charge entry for the latter and dispose of the cash from the 1st elsewhere. Perhaps you can guide me to a site where this issue is addressed. The sense of community in the towns and villages are also being eroded, not just in the country side, but that's another story. Many thanks for making your site available to all. Rose Bowie.

Date: 12 Sep 2004 CommentsNice work, keep up the good work .
Date: 14 Sep 2004 CommentsThank you for a uniquely valuable and educational web site. After 1745 (Culloden) it was said, "they created a desert and called it peace", contrast that with, 'they saw a desert and created Las Vegas' (Las Vegas is one of the fastest growing cities in the U.S.). Makes you think... An individual's ability to buy and sell land is fundamental to a society's ability to create wealth and prosperity.
